A CHANCE TO GIVE
The “Egg-sta” Special Sock created by Skacel Collecion’s designer Rosemary Chapman is available. All of Skacel’s proceeds from the sale of the kit will be given to the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research. StillWater Fibers will be doing the same in the name of Aidan Canterra, an Oxford resident who lost her life to this disease.
The sock has been meaningfully designed with four pattern bands that tell a story and offer encouragement. Each kit includes teal yarn, pattern and a card listing “signs & symptoms of ovarian cancer.
Free instuction/support will be available for those who would like to give a finished pair to a friend or family member.
