StillWater Fibers is a yarn shop in Oxford, Pennsylvania.  We opened in November 2006 and have a growing community of friends and fiber artists which we serve.  StillWater Fibers offers classes in knitting, crochet, weaving and felting for all ages.  Take a look at our current newsletter to learn about the classes we’re offering now.  If there is something else you’re interested in, let us know.  We are eager to hear from you about the projects you are doing and the new skills you’re learning.  Share your news with us. 

We offer yarns and supplies from a number of vendors. 

We believe in supporting local businesses, so you will find some yarns produced in Pennsylvania, like Kraemer Yarns’ Mauch Chunky, Hand-dyed Yarns and Wools of Lancaster County, PA and Wool in the Woods, as well as the work of some local fiber artists. 

We also want to offer you products which promote fair trade in developing countries.  It’s easy when the products are as beautiful and appealing as those from Lantern Moon.  Come see the baskets, knitting needles and beautiful needle cases and bags crafted by artisans in southeast Asia.

We encourage the Shawl Ministry and gather on the fourth Sunday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Bring your needles/hook, yarn and contemplative, compassionate spirit to create shawls to comfort, to celebrate and to console. We have a copy of Knitting Into the Mystery for your perusal, or visit the website www.shawlministry.com for information about this outreach organized by Jill Bristow and Victoria Galo-Cole in 1998. Join us as we knit, mindful of God at work through us to reach out to others.
